Women in Data Science - Automating Excel Reporting with Python Online
This workshop introduces participants to automating data manipulation tasks in Python, with a specific focus on Excel file processing. Attendees will learn how to use Python's powerful libraries, pandas and openpyxl, to streamline repetitive tasks such as extracting data from one Excel file and populating missing values in another. Participants will work through a hands-on project to automate the generation of a weekly report by filling in missing data based on available information. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the tools and techniques to efficiently automate similar reporting tasks, saving time and reducing errors in routine workflows.
